really good italian restaurant on opposite side of the road called feliccini.

This was an exceptional experience. My wife and I appreciated everything about this hotel. The variety of foods available at the buffet breakfast was extraordinary
Top Tip
We were there for a conference and as such had limited time for savouring the delights of Manchester. We were very satisfied with the Beluga restaurant (behind the library and about 100 yards from the hotel.

Fascinating building, good beds, spotlessly clean, really helpful staff.
Only criticism was the quality of the evening meal - tough steaks.
Excellent breakfast though.

Uncomfortable bed, internet access at 50p per minute, only 1 lift and used a lot by staff and broken on last day. Only 15 min from Picadilly station and close to theatres and town center.

Travelled for 6 hours.
Placed in Room 16,Level M.(Room from Hell!!)
Arrived...no hot water!
Requested it be rectified..problem persisted, no hot water in room overnight and in the morning.
No hot shower or bath!!
Persistent noise throughout the night, some not the hotels fault but housekeeping noise,such as bottle discarding into large bins was to do with the hotel. This was one of the worst stays i have had in a city hotel due to room location and absence of a basic facility. Did complain to Duty Manager who apologised and said General Manager would be in touch..3 days and still waiting!!

A lovely clean and comfortable hotel of a high standard. Ideal for China town restaurants. A bit of a trek to the centre for shopping but a worth a stay anyway.
